Grundig Business Systems and Verdatum solve dictation hardware issues for Rutan & Tucker LLP
As the Digta SonicMic, along with all other GBS dictation hardware, is fully integrated with the Verdatum platform, the pilot rollout was straightforward as device driver support was remotely pushed out by the Verdatum system. Within several days of the pilot launch, Rutan’s users found the ergonomic design of the Digta SonicMic appealing, and Rutan´s IT support found the hardware to meet their stability and reliability requirements.
As a result of the pilot program, Rutan has removed all competitive products and replaced them with over 60 GBS Digta SonicMics. The combination of the GBS Digta SonicMics and the Verdatum workflow system has produced a stable dictation platform on the Vista Enterprise OS, serving the needs of both day to day end users as well as IT administration.
GBS is pleased to work with its integration partner Verdatum on this successful deployment of GBS hardware within Rutan & Tucker,“ said Chris Hanley, North American Sales Manager for GBS. “The award winning design of the Digta SonicMic along with its reliability was quickly realized by Rutan & Tucker. This rollout proves to the market that there is a superior, alternative solution available for high quality desktop dictation and that GBS devices are easy to implement, maintain and use,“ he continued. “The partnership between Verdatum and GBS was a key factor in solving the needs of Rutan & Tucker,“ says John Methfessel, President and CEO of Verdatum. “Verdatum’s developers have always found the GBS hardware easy to integrate into our workflow platform. We appreciate the support that GBS provides to Verdatum and specifically the steps taken to ensure end customer satisfaction with Rutan & Tucker,“ he continued.
“GBS and Verdatum worked very well together to provide a solution that met the needs and expectations of our attorneys,“ said Dave Crunkleton, Director of IT for Rutan & Tucker. “Reliability fosters confidence, confidence increases productivity. Now that the hardware platform has been stabilized, the users are happy, IT support staff are happy … very much a win/win resolution,“ he continued.
